Must-Read Women Empowerment Books

My Women Empowerment and Education reading list includes remarkable books with very strong, eye opening and motivational messages from exemplary women. Some of these contain harsh real life stories, show both the difficulties that these women have endured, and (thankfully) the ways they've managed to pull through!


I have slowly collated this list through my own readings and through recommendations from friends and colleagues (some of which I'm yet to read), with the aim to increase everyone's awareness on the importance of Women Empowerment.

It's well known that I love everything to do with flowers... but when it comes to drawing/painting, I think my eyes don't have the required talent to artistically identify shapes and colours.  Still, I told myself I wanted to draw flowers and I had to find a way to achieve this! And so I decided to take an ethical "copy-paste" approach to this: I photographed as many flowers as possible I imported my selected picture into my iPad digital drawing app: Procreate® Using my Apple Pen, I traced the outlines of my flower into a new layer and voila! Ingesting radium: an outrageously dangerous job

Nowadays we're all aware of the insane dangers of radioactivity. So, if you came across a job description asking you to " swallow small amounts of a highly toxic and radioactive substance all day long , 5 days a week", you certainly wouldn't apply, right?           As crazy as it sounds, this job used to exist!
